Why Ginger Root? A favorite spice to add to cookies, Eastern cuisine, and hot beverages, ginger root can do more than add zesty flavor. Ginger root has traditionally been used to support normal and calm digestion, but can also promote normal reproductive health and immune support during harsher, colder seasons.

Formula:

Ginger Zingiber officinale root (cut): 1 ounce

Fennel Foeniculum vulgare seeds: 1 ounce

Coriander Coriandrum sativum seeds: 1 ounce

Caraway Carum carvi seeds: ½ ounce

Yarrow Achillea millefolium leaf: ½ ounce

Mix the herbs and store in an appropriate container in a dark, cool place. As needed, prepare an infusion using one cup of boiling water to every one teaspoon of the herbal blend. Cover and steep for ten minutes. Strain and sweeten. Use four tablespoons of the infusion after each meal. Store the infusion in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours
