Set aside and prepare the ointment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo prepare the ointment, melt the beeswax and almond oil over a water bath.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRemove from the heat and cool until lukewarm. Beat in the seven ounces of yellow dock and chickweed liquid until the ointment emulsifies. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTransfer to a nine-ounce jar, label, and store in a cool place. Tannins and alkaloids interfere with the uptake and absorption of iron. Anyone with a history of kidney stones should use yellow dock cautiously.
