Wild Yam: Dioscorea villosa (L.)

About Wild Yam: Do not confuse wild yam (D. villosa) with the cultivated garden yam, a very different species known as Oxalis tuberose. Wild yam is a climbing plant that supports itself by twining around the branches of other plants. The plants produce tubercles (small tubers that are formed in the leaf axils of the stems), and can be propagated by this means.

Benefits: Because there is not adequate scientific substantive research as defined by the FDA we are unable to provide any guidance on how to use this herb. We suggest you do your own research.

False unicorn Chamaelirium luteum: 1 ounce

Cramp bark Viburnum opulus: 1⁄2 ounce

Cautions and Contraindications:
